Overtime Elite League

I noticed Topps Now prints Overtime Elite cards. This looks like a new pro league for top elite high school and international players. Checking ebay for parallel cards and these sellers are continuing to price the cards as if we are still in an overpriced market. A few hundred dollars for a 16 year old, unreal. The league and players looks intriguing, but all I can afford are the base cards. Does anyone have an opinion on the league and cards?

All I'm aware of are the Topps Now-style cards they make. I was buying and staying current but I think at some point I missed an installment. I'm all for more platforms for talent to get exposure and hopefully showcase their talents and get a shot in the big leagues. At this point though, I wouldn't know who to buy or who to pass on.

It’s like college cards in that I’m guessing if the player does well, the first card will be popular until an NBA one is out. The league was revolutionary until the NIL decision where kids now get paid in college and get way more exposure too.
