The biggest shocker yesterday for me was the 1-8 Texans beating the 8-2 Texans. Ryan Tannehill was picked off a career-high four times Sunday. He'd never thrown more than two INTs in a game since joining Tennessee in 2019 (37 starts). The turnovers just killed the Titans, 5 total.

Look at this, Chiefs Clyde Edwards Helaire was flagged for taunting when he pointed at a player in yesterdays Cowboys vs Chiefs game.

You get the same amount of penalty yards for punching someone in the stomach as pointing your finger at someone.

Buffalo proving to everyone that they fooled most of us into thinking they were a contender. Getting absolutely whitewashed by the Colts was laughable.

The Chargers tried to lose but just couldn’t make it happen last night.

Cleveland proving week in and week out that they were way overrated before the season started

Patriots are leading the AFC East division, I’m still not a believer that they are a legit contender as of yet.

Tennessee had a bad game, I’m not going to give them the fraud tag just yet.

Seattle is not a good football team. With Lockett and Metcalf it’s bizarre that Wilson has such horrible numbers

He was just telling his blockers to pick that defender up, though, right?...😁

as I posted elsewhere, he clearly committed this penalty prior to scoring so that TD should have been negated and the ball moved back 15 yards.

The Chiefs are back to looking like they are contenders.

I don’t think they threw the flag until after he scored, either way if they start taking away TD’s for situations like this then that would be taking it to even more of a comical level.

Steelers DT Cameron Heyward says the play on which he appeared to punch Justin Herbert in the stomach on the ground was just a misunderstanding that looked weird on TV:

Look at this, I know you Patriots fans must enjoy this site.

It’s so surprising but there is a lot more football to go!

I am a believer in the Patriots as constructed. very strong running game, a QB who does not make stupid mistakes and is improving every week, a solid defense.

I think they are constructed to keep high scoring offenses off the field.

George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.

    couple of thoughts

Arizona is a more complete team than even i thought. conventional wisdom says they were supposed to tank without Kyler & Nuk for three weeks, yet they actually vaulted past Green Bay into the #1 slot going into their bye week. coming out of it they should be ready to roll with those two when they have yet another bye and play the Bears

here's how screwed up the AFC is: the top-ranked team in the conference has lost to both Houston and the NY Jets this season

you'll never be able to outrun a bad diet

NE is a fumble away from beating the Dolphins week one and just a few plays away from beating the Bucs as well.

could be sitting at 8-3 or 9-2.

in either case, they are playing lights out and heading in the right trajectory.

George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.

Jonathan Taylor is an absolute beast, he had 204 total yards yesterday against the Bills and 5 TDs.

True. But close means nothing as we all know.

    W’s & L’s are all that matter

I know the last 20 years have been hard on Patriots fans, but don't worry, your suffering is over. 🖒

It really was so hard on us, In 2002 New England tied for the division title and they didn’t get to play in the playoffs...they didn’t get to play in the playoffs!

similar thing happened to the Pats in 2008. they missed the playoffs on the 2nd tiebreaker to the ravens.

not that i am bitter or anything...

    Yikes.

The Falcons haven't scored a TD since Week 9. Outscored 68-3 the past two weeks, they hadn't failed to reach the end zone in successive games in 34 years.

  • doubledragondoubledragon Posts: 23,269 ✭✭✭✭✭

    Double yikes.

The Jacksonville Jaguars would love to avoid NFC teams entirely. Sunday's loss to the San Francisco 49ers was the Jags' 14th setback in a row against the other conference. Jacksonville has dropped 44 of its past 51 against the NFC.

As I look back on the (double) dynasty, I kind of like how things worked out. I believe that those bumps in the road just made us fly higher in the end.

This double dynasty is exactly what we had and as good as it was it’s annoying to think we went 9 years without a winner.

We went to 9 SB but it still feels like we left a lot of meat on the bone.
