PCGS slabs new So-Called Dollar SH numbers by Jeff Shevlin and Bill Hyder

Jeff Shevlin reports that both PCGS and ATS are slabbing So-Called Dollars with the new SH numbers that he and Bill Hyder are using in a new series of catalogs.

This means that So-Called Dollars now has a 3rd set of catalog numbers after HK (Harold E. Hibler, Charles V. Kappen) which followed Kenny numbers (by Richard D. Kenney).

H&K numbers were popularized by the 1963 book by Hibler & Kappen and the 2008 re-print. Now we are in a transition to SH #’s for So-Called Dollars, for Shevlin & Hyder. All of the major grading firms, NGC, PCGS, ANACS and ICG have started to use SH #’s.
