Where to Start?

I have consolidated my collection of baseball cards I gathered in my younger years and have no idea where to start in trying to value them for insurance or to sell. I don't know if these full sets of cards are worth anything or just some of the key players or short run cards that are in them. I have a broad collection and haven't paid attention to this hobby in over 2 decades. I have some key name players like Mickey Mantle, Bob Uecker, Ernie Banks, Bo Jackson, Michael Jordon, john Elway (rookie), to un open packs like the looney toon cards. I have full sets including the foil cards and even an un opened set of the 1989 Topps complete set.
Any help in pointing me down the right path would be appreciated as I am assuming this will take some time and diligence to figure out what I have and what is worth anything.

Here is a link to a picture of some of the cards I have.

I understand that, your answers are helpful. Especially restating it really clarified it. However, I don't see a "New Discussion" button under trading cards & memorabilia forum topics so I assumed the tags would have filtered it there. I would be happy to delete this but I am not seeing that as well.

I’m unfamiliar with that forum, but quickly spotted the “New Discussion” tab on the upper left side, just above the top announcement thread there.

if you follow the link in my previous post, it is a screen shot of the page you just sent me. I do not see top left or anywhere on the page for that matter a new discussion button. I only see it if I click the home link at the top of the page and it ends up being on the top right of the page.

However I do have a 2020 W quarter, no die chip issues though if it helps to post here.

When I click on the link contained in my post, I see the tab I mentioned. When I click on the link in your post, I don’t see the tab in your screenshot. I suggest you message a forum administrator, there.
