Question on authenticity of 1875-CC Twenty Cent?

Dealer friend of mine gave me this 20 cent piece to look at, its been cleaned and whizzed for sure, but I dont think its genuine. He thinks it is, would like other forum members opinion? Weight of 5 grams is dead on
Thanks
Jim

I don't know anything about the series in great detail, but I don't think I see anything that makes me question authenticityl (great example of a whizzed coin, though!)
I’m with doc, real but altered surfaces

I think it's real and heavily abused.

Ok,
He wants me to sell it for him on ebay, so i just wanted to make sure its 100% genuine. I had some doubts, but I guess the heavy whizzing is Throwing me off some
thanks
Genuine but heavily wire-brushed (whizzed).
Sure has been worked over.
A VF details example recently brought $437 on eBay. I like yours better.

Nothing really sticks out to me except at star 2. Is that a tooling mark from the die it was struck from? That's the only flag I can see from the pics.
