HiBid auction of 1795 C-6 half cent wrongly attributed as a 1796

I have tried with messages to both HiBid and the listed auction house Golden State Galleries with no response and the auction appears to be continuing:
The issue is this is not a 1796 no pole but a rather common (for the series) 1795 no pole C-6. The attribution is rather easy if you have a full reverse and take the time to attribute the coin in question, which is my 1st step in my counterfeit review process.
The following images are of a 1795 C-6; the reverse with a leaf tip just under the "I" of AMERICA is unique in the series to the '95 C-6, and an image of this one compared to the reverse of the 1796. That reverse is unique to both varieties of 1796, so this actually is a pretty easy attribution with just an image comparison...
Not sure what happens if the auction continues, but if anyone checks the updated on-line cert should they should be concerned!

Win it and be a pain in their rear to teach them a lesson about ignoring this stuff. Pay with a Credit Card so you can file a chargeback case if they won't play ball.

Anybody paying 20k for a slick piece of copper will/should know it as well as you.

would you post a link?
i don't think it is the case here but i'm a bit taken aback i haven't seen more authentic coins in counterfeit holders (kinda thankful) posted here (actually any that i can recall) and when i see a situation like this, i like to look things over in anticipation of finding something like that.
i've seen plenty of counterfeits in authentic holders so if anyone has an authentic coin in a counterfeit holder, please do post.
Is that a NGC issue or counterfeit slab?
the auction house is not Golden State Galleries but Gold Standard Auctions
hibid sellers terms of service -> https://hibid.com/home/selleruserterms
Genuine slab, which is why NGC updated the on-line cert.
Thank you for noting my mistype of the auction house but their web site is a bit confusing.
Boy thats a huge mechanical error, somebody needs to get that off the market pronto
I guess someone did...
Just told the sale is being cancelled and the coin returned to the consignor...
