    how is that funny? piazza is a flamming homo, and derek jeter is the best shortstop in baseball and can have any girl he wants...i dont see how that is remotely funny.

    it's funny cuz of how it looks... and yes, Jeter is good, but not the best... A-Rod and Nomar are both better shortstops (offensively AND defensively)... sorry to burst your bubble...

    Hey, don't pick on the Jeter fanimage, that's my job. The other two you named are better now, and Tejada, Santiago, and Guzman will be better than Jeter in the near future. It sure helps to play on a team full of overpaid All-Stars.image

    Jeter the best shortstop in the majors?? Nah.... we won't go there. He's not and he and everyone else in the majors knows it.

    Who started shortstop last night for the AL. Nuff said.

    as a die hard yankee fan...id say jeter is 3rd best at ss (nomar and alex are above him) but defensively he is probably the best all around....(actual play at ss, knowing whats going on in the game at all times, being in right place at right time, smart plays) he will probably stay 3rd best as the other ss arent quite as good all around......but if you were to make a team up i dont know if you would pick nomar or alex before him as jeter seems to be more of a clutch player.....

    Being a die hard DBACKS fan I'd have to say agree with you. Jeter was in the right place in game 7 of the World Series last year. Thank god Torre had the infield in image
