I have all I need of circ Ikes

Edited: Called one of the LCS just outside of town, and he says he can sell me a couple hundred at about $1.20 each. Nice!
I'll probably call that good, unless the deal falls through...

Why do I want them, you may well ask...

    I used to get $1000 bags from my bank a few years ago... loved searching them for varieties and reselling them on Ebay and the worst ones Id save for tips....

    Nothing like the look when you give a waitress a tip in Ike dollars...

    I'm not even sure he buys them, this old guy may have had them in a 5 gallon bucket for the last 30 years

    It may cost 20 cents per Ike just for shipping. I have 30 to 40 ikes, but I'd rather keep them than sell for an extra nickel per Ike. Have you tried going to your local banks and seeing if the tellers have some taking up space in their vault. It might surprise you what coins the banks have on hand that nobody ever asks for.

    If you ask banks for them, they’ll feel much better about you spending them locally if you say you’ll buy them back again later

    I love using Ikes and/or $2 bills for tips for just this reason, I've had many ask if they are even real. LOL
