So, what’s the point?
eBay reports you for the next few months vs next few months and then in perpetuity.
Bottom line- eBay having your information with the promise of IRS reporting. Too much for lots of people with common sense.
Error on the side of common sense.
It may be a state thing. certain states already enacted the lower threshold. MA and VT have been doing this for a few years already
