GTG: 1914 Canadian $5 gold

Picked this up at my local for a bit over melt, looked good, and the rarest date so I sent it in for grading.

  • Did this 1914 $5 really achieve a MS63? That's a nice coin to get based on it's bullion value.....I wonder what other treasures your LCS has in its bullion bin.

    It did. I've done pretty well at this dealer, he grades very fairly on the stuff he sells, a little less so on the stuff he buys. A few more picks like this and I might break even with them based on items I've sold over the years at wholesale prices.
