Dolphins spank Ravens

My lowly fins kicked the Ravens butt tonight 22-10.
Defense was outstanding; Ravens may not be
best AFC team any longerl

I’m surprised this wasn’t posted during the game

Ravens had difficulty making anything happen

They did score a td but what helped them get into position were dolphins penalties

Ofcourse the whole country figured they would get a leg up on the action this coming weekend by taking the “Sure thing” and getting smoked

The Ravens never were the best Team in the AFC, neither were The Bills, The Chiefs, The Bengals and now The Titans. each week is just a snapshot in time of what's going on in the NFL, although right about now is when the best Teams should start to separate from the also-rans while they position themselves for the playoff seeding.

a good example of it being "too early" to rank everyone is the Cincinnati Bengals: they "thumped" these same Ravens and were 5-2 and the number one AFC seed with the media calling them dangerous. two games later The Bengals are crawling into their bye-week after losing to The Jets and Browns and settling into the AFC North basement.

around game 12-13 will be a good time to see who's best in each Conference.

I don't think that there is a "best" team in either conference. Any team can beat any other team on any Sunday. Playoff winners and the Super Bowl teams will all boil down to who has the best
quarterbacks (there are only a few) and how they perform in post season play. That's usually the way it works. This year will be no different. It's all about the QB.

I just ran this question by The Lovely Mrs. Hydrant. She agrees with me but she added that, "The refs have a lot to do with which team people think is the best.......like the Cowboys.".. Hey, the girl knows her football. It's settled.

I think the Cardinals may have the best "Team Chemistry" in the league. Not the best players but they play as a cohesive unit on offense and defense. It wouldn't surprise me if they go all the way. And.....they do have one of the better QBs. How will he perform post season? That's what it's all about.

Like every fan. I want my team to be the best in January.
Tampa looked like dog sh$t at times last year. Blown out twice by the Saints. Brady forgot what day and down it was. They didn’t even win their division. Guess what? Doesn’t matter. Just win a few playoff games and the last one.

I think the Super Bowl is really up for grabs this year, anyone can beat anyone, good luck trying to figure out who will hoist the Lombardi this year.

true. it is about getting hot at the right time. and avoiding injuries

George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.

the fan perception of who the "best QB's" might be is changed every week even if the fans themselves aren't willing to admit it. just last it was time for Lamar Jackson to be re-examined. do I believe he is one of the top QB's --- yes. thing is, last night he couldn't fight his way out of a paper bag and got outplayed by Tua Tagovailoa. last week Stafford made rookie mistakes. Patrick Mahomes is a turn-over machine. pick whoever is your favorite, chances are he's had tough sledding this season or will in the near future.

welcome to 2021 one-dimensional QB league where everyone seems to want their eggs in one basket.
