He says he should have been the number 1 overall pick in the 2018 NFL draft instead of the 171st pick. Is he that good?

His cards are getting a lot of bidders on eBay, they're selling like hotcakes!
He is going to make the Jets competitive.
Yes, you have to get rid of that Patrick Mahomes avatar perk, I keep thinking you're Darin.
Yes, the Zach Wilson experiment went well.
there were what, 5 QB selected in the first round in 2021. I wonder how many will be busts. who will be the todd blackledge of this draft?
George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.
Yes, the Zach Wilson experiment went well.
but he had that one great throw at the combine, he's a superstar. just like OBJ made a career out of the one-handed catch, Wilson got a lucrative contract out of that combine throw.
I am starting to think the same thing. Montana is questioning the San Fransisco pick at 3 as well.
Sometimes, the combine "stars" are just that combine stars.
George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.
Sometimes, the combine "stars" are just that combine stars.
and sometimes combine flops are the same.
when Tom Brady was playing at Michigan he was pretty unimpressive until his senior year. given another NCAA season and understanding what he developed into, I believe he could have taken The Wolverines on a run to the NCAA title. as it was, he had a thoroughly unimpressive post season combine-workout period. some players are like that through their careers, and not just in the NFL, they just don't impress in practice but they absolutely shine on the field when it counts.
I think it was Trey Lance, he played one game last season at North Dakota, one game. how can a Team risk a top pick like that on one game's experience before coming out??
I'm waiting for the validation on Justin Fields. he got body-slammed before the draft by the media, had little to no playing time prior to the Cleveland debut and then Nagy left him staked out like bait during that entire game. the guy was abused after he ran the table last season in the Big 10, outplayed Trevor Lawrence and lost to Alabama because the Buckeyes couldn't match the 'Tides speed. I've been a Fields believer all along and now that he's had his pre-season-equivalent along with some sideline help he's showing what he can do.
when the 2021 season is in the books I believe Fields has the best chance of ending out on top of the five taken, with Mac Jones right behind him. both young QB's, ironically the last of the five taken, are both struggling for almost the same reason: Fields because Nagy and his staff didn't prepare him well, Jones because the Patriots are so afraid of him failing that they won't cut him loose to succeed.
Have to give craig a like for the Blackledge mention. I'm getting old and senile but even I
remember the Chiefs picking Blackledge instead of Dan Marino.
It looks like the heady days of Mike White being a superstar QB have ended as quickly as it began.
