International Shipping - US to EU

I haven't been actively collecting for a while... I moved to Europe over two years ago... there's not many opportunities to buy US coins in Europe. I'm stuck between selling or moving my collection overseas, if possible.

Has anyone ever shipped a large collection from the US to the EU ?

Dont say carry them on a flight... there's just too many coins to do that and I wouldnt risk it.

And as for FedEx, DHL or UPS, some restrict coins from international shipments.

I am really looking for a company that specializes in shipping art/collectibles.

Has anyone used one or recommend one ?

    Shipping is easy. Insurance is hard...

    I would start with finding an insurer or reinsurer. Armed with that, use whatever shipping they mandate to guarantee the coverage.

    Okay... good advice... does anyone have an insurance company that will cover international shipping ?
