Who are the Top 15 QB's in the NFL??

keetskeets Posts: 25,351 ✭✭✭✭✭

This has been discussed before but I thought I'd pin everyone down with their choices. These are the Teams in the current standings with their starter listed. Please list your 15 best NFL QB's from the list, in no particular order. I'll withhold my choices for now and just say that I can get to 11 pretty easy, after that I actually have to think about the choices.

Thanks in advance.

Al H.

Buffalo --- Josh Allen.
New England --- Mac Jones.
New York Jets --- Josh Johnson.
Miami --- Jacoby Brissett.
LA Chargers --- Justin Herbert.
Las Vegas --- Derek Carr.

this is my list of 14 thus far with Tannehill and Carr vying for the 15th spot. one thing about the(MY) list that's interesting is when it's viewed by Divisions within each Conference. in a peculiar way it shows the relative strength of those Divisions and tends to be an estimate of play-off Teams. I don't think every Team listed will make the play-offs but they would seem to be the ones with the best chance.

    Buffalo --- Josh Allen.

    LA Chargers --- Justin Herbert.
    Las Vegas --- Derek Carr.
    Kansas City --- Patrick Mahomes.

    Baltimore --- Lamar Jackson.
    Pittsburgh --- Ben Roethlisberger.
    Cleveland --- Baker Mayfield.

    Tennessee --- Ryan Tannehill.

    Dallas --- Dak Prescott.

    Arizona --- Kyler Murray.
    LA Rams --- Matthew Stafford.
    Seattle --- Russell Wilson.

    Green Bay --- Aaron Rodgers.

    Tampa Bay --- Tom Brady.

Its tough because it seems like its been a season when a QB is riding high they get taken down a notch.
Mahomes, Josh Allen against the Jags, Matthew Stafford his last game had picks on 2 straight throws.

Brady and Murray have probably been the most consistent so I'll put them Top 2 for now.

I would not choose Tannehill, Cousins, or Carr.
Why? All three are veterans who have never won a big, meaningful game.

I would put Tannehill above the others as he has won a couple of playoff games and reached the AFC Championship in 2019.

I could only get to 14 in good conscience (in no particular order):

    Buffalo --- Josh Allen.
    LA Chargers --- Justin Herbert.
    Kansas City --- Patrick Mahomes.
    Baltimore --- Lamar Jackson.
    Cincinnati --- Joe Burrow.

I was just following rules, I don’t think Ryan, Mayfield, Tannehill or Cousins belong in any conversation about the top whatever lol
