Hydrant is a Rams fan, don't let the Hydrantettes see this footage, they must be shielded from viewing this disgusting display of fan barbarianism!

Save the Hydrantettes, they must never see this footage, their future depends on it!

I’ve said it a hundred times, if your going to act up you best know how to fight. These guys are clowns, slow punches and they get dropped. That was embarrassing to watch.

The guy that walked on the guy that was down deserves a savage face kicked in type of beating

Anybody who is anybody knows that you never fight up in a stadium. You must have the high ground. Just ask Anakin Skywalker. And if it can’t be avoided, your first strike should be pulling them down to your level, not throwing a punch. The seats and gravity usually take care of the rest. Always mind your surroundings. Or smuggle in a miniature golf club and take it to his knee caps, that will get him off of you!

DD. The Little Hydrantettes no longer go to Rams games. As of this year. They always went before. All 5 of them. In their Ram cheerleader uniforms. God they were cute in those little blue and gold uniforms! The reason they don't go? The BARBARISM!

that video in the OP is an outstanding example of what I'll term "the anatomy of a knock-out" and how it works. you can punch someone in the face all day and you might put him on the ground and bloody him a little, but you won't necessarily knock him out. watch the punches that lay the two men out cold down the steps: they connect with side of the jaw, forcing it backwards and momentarily collapsing an artery, stopping blood flow to the brain. it's classic!!

neither man was hit really hard, they were just hit in the right place by someone who knew what he was doing.

that is correct. that is the lights-out switch. sometimes you see these fights in public and the guys are for some reason punching each other in the head. never understood that. great way to break your knuckles.

a properly placed punch to the jaw and even a glancing blow at the right angle to the chin will turn out the lights every single time. thats one of the reasons in boxing we are taught to tuck the chin.

LOL you think that guy who win that fight knew what he was doing? I mean he happened to just run into 2 things…

    1-Extremely lucky shot
2-Complete idiots that know less what they are doing than the winner

I dont mean to be advocating fighting in public in any way. I really cant imagine a reason a grown man would do so other than in defense of self or family.

the potential civil litigation involved could ruin a person financially for life. not to even say that if you did in fact knock someone out and they hit their head on a hard object or the pavement on the way down, it could easily cause death or serious TBI, which also could ruin a person financially. not to even mention the emotional trauma of killing or seriously injuring someone over a sports team argument.

    really really stupid

    It’s absolutely stupid.

My rule of thumb is, if someone puts their hands on me first or my girlfriend/family member then I will violently throw punches.

Outside of that I’m not putting my hands on anyone no matter what they call me.

^^^That is the right policy to have. In a defensive situation, I will fight until either the threat stops or I am stopped. Hopefully if I am the one stopped, my loved ones will have enough time to flee while the ruckus ensues.

otherwise, me and mine are leaving whatever situation we are in if i sense things are starting to turn south.

I wish I would have had the same mindset in my younger years. It would have saved me some trouble a few times.

It's better to just let the drunks try to hit you and not hit back. Block the punches. Those beer fueled losers are hopeless. If you do hit back you feel bad afterwards because you hit a dope. Sometimes you might have to knock the sh*t out of them because they're dangerous dopes. But most times it's not necessary. They always fall down on their own after a couple of idiotic swings and misses. And....the best part.....if they do land a lucky punch....... it doesn't hurt.

That's where footwork comes in. you can trip them or step on their foot and they fall down.

Oh wow, just wow, I asked my wife how she would fight off an attacker if I wasn't there to defend her, and she said, "the two N's, hit him in the nose and nuts!"

Wrong answers. It is extremely difficult to get a kick in the nuts while under duress or attack. The absolute best self defense mechanism is a shot to the neck, straight forward to the Adam’s apple, regardless of how big or vicious you are a throat punch to the Adam’s apple will stop you. Even that is difficult but it’s much more beneficial taking that shot as opposed to the nose or nuts.

I will let her know this information, I want her to know how to protect herself in case I'm not around. Meanwhile, I'm sleeping on the couch tonight, I didn't realize she was so vicious!

Turn your body sideways, cover up and let the other guy hit your shoulder. If you have to go on the offensive: slash above the neck, full fist below the neck.

    Have a nice day

You and me both. A few years ago I saw Tim Conway leaving a restaurant. Being a fan I decided to get his autograph. I couldn't catch him.
