In case anyone was wondering, there is Morse Code just inside the edge. It says "We Win When We Work Willingly. A great looking coin. The code is all 1943-1945 nickels, regardless the alloy. The large "V" stands for victory, as well as the Roman numeral for"5". It was a very clever design for WWll coinage.
