Up for your consideration is a 1964 Kennedy Half graded by our hosts as AU58. This is a pretty rare grade with only 515 total graded AU58 by PCGS according to the pop reports. Compare that with the MS65 pop of 6,681! Put it this way, if you were in a big traffic jam on I95 on the east coast or the I5 on the west coast and had every single one of the AU58's in the trunk of your car, there would probably not be enough of these to give 1 to each driver!
Condition wise I would say the coin is fairly white with luster, not the booming white that many MS example of this date have but somewhat muted. Some mild toning is present tamping down the whiteness. No major marks on the coin, just minor wear hence the grade.
The only one on eBay right now is listed at $1,000.00 but today only (or at least until it sells / I give up) for my fellow forumites I will let mine go for a much more reasonable 17.00 USD USPS FC shipping included. That is just a measly buck more than the PCGS price guide value will help to offset shipping a bit. Honestly there are several that have sold over the last few months on eBay, most for more but a couple for less and typically $3.00 or more for shipping.
