Helen Keller and other historic autographs

I am thinking of buying a Helen Keller autograph for my collection. However I learned many of her ttm autographs are secretarial. I want to know what to look for while browsing eBay and other places. I don’t want to pay tons of money on one that is authenticated and overpriced. I just want a simple signature or signed letter. I know that the “neat” evenly spaced signatures are usually signs that it is secretarial. If I know what to look for I can find a pretty reasonable priced one without breaking the bank.

Pawn stars just had a Keller on their show a week or so ago, secretary, but they show the real one of course.
There are others that were interesting in the same scene.
This is what made me create the thread. I just saw that episode last night.
Sorry, wasn't aware.
Do you post over at https://live.autographmagazine.com/forum ?
They may be able to answer your questions more since this forum is pretty quiet.
Also, RR Auction has a letter in their current auction.

There are some good resources over there but also some real "personalities" and egos.
I'm aware, I just lurk.
The same can be said over in the U.S. Coin section.
I sure do miss the magazine itself though. It was one of my favorites growing up.
Yes, I saw that and I am watching. I probably won’t actually buy one until I have looked for a while and get a feel for how much they cost and whatnot.
I have checked out that other forum and haven’t posted there in years, but sometimes find it interesting.
