Who do you think is the Top Team in the NFL during Week Nine??

keetskeets Posts: 25,351 ✭✭✭✭✭

I haven't got a clue. Nobody is dominant and everybody seems to have an "Achilles Heel" of some sort. To my way of thinking, it might be easier to figure out which Team is the least flawed.

I still come up with a blank after today's games.

Pick a team out of a hat at this point

I don't have a clue either, every I think I've got it figured out a team gets exposed.

Buffalo was absolutely ridiculous today, I hope they go the rest of the season without winning a game.

Well I have to admit - the Lions looked really good today! B)

The Rams and Titans are both up there somewhere, but to be honest about it, neither team looked sharp in their matchup yesterday. Maybe just the midseason doldrums but both of those two teams look beatable right now. Sort of like what happened to the Bills yesterday.

The Rams lost to Seattle and The Titans lost to The Jets, how do you explain either of those without admitting that both Teams have problems and aren't as good as we think?? we're at the half-way point now with more than enough film for EVERY Team to be exposed and Coaching Staffs needing to adjust. I think that's where the best Teams will emerge during the latter part of the season, whoever can adjust the best and exploit what their opponents have done thus far.

The Rams did not lose to Seattle. They have lost to Phoenix and the Titans. I do agree with you about the Rams and Titans. I think both teams are overrated at this point. The Rams are only as good as Stafford is at this point. He has a bad game...they lose. I don't know enough about the Titans but I was expecting to see a better quality team yesterday. I was disappointed. I don't expect the Rams to finish on top. Something is missing with them. They are very lucky to be 7-2. They could easily be 5-4 or 4-5 at this point. They have won some very close games to mediocre teams. Nailbiters.

I think you hit the nail on the head about, "Coaching staffs need to adjust......." at this point in the season. Exactly!

interesting. two people in this thread have a hard time wrapping their minds around Arizona, yet the Cardinals waltzed into the crib of their favorite teams and beat the brakes off of them. i guess those beatdowns didn't provide enough clarity? :D

AZ is second in points scored and third in points allowed. they are an A.J. Green brain fart away from being unscathed thru 9 weeks.

my concern is not with the team (how could it be seeing as i've been on them since before the season even started?), but it's with the injury bug. it's claiming a lot of their best players already. but then again, they took a half deck to San Francisco yesterday and flogged the hell out of the Niners. no Murray, no Hopkins, no Green, no problem.

can they win it all? of course they can. will they? i don't know that, and neither do you. but what i do know is that if they are at full strength come playoff time, no one is going to want any part of them..............including Tompa.

you'll never be able to outrun a bad diet

Galaxy........the electricity was cut out here at 9 a.m. CALIFORNIA! Now back on at 5.p.m.
At 9:01 I was just about to post that it might just be the Cardinals are the best "TEAM" For the reasons you state. But.......best team or not, it's going to come down to Rodgers and Brady and flip a coin.

Also...... Galaxy......for years, on Sundays when the Rams aren't in town and the Cardinals are at home, The Lovely Mrs. Hydrant and I drive to Phoenix to catch all the Cardinal games. The Hydrant Boys and Girls go too. CARAVAN!!! Well,....I'm just not impressed with the Cardinals. But....them winning without Murray is big.! THEY COULD BE FOR REAL! But.....it's not all about Kyle Murray. I wish them the best. At this point they are a TEAM......TEAM EFFORT! GO CARDINALS!!!
