Vintage Cubs hat w/ two signatures

I have a well-worn Cubs cap with two sigs on the brim--the top one I believe is Andre Dawson. I can't make out the bottom sig, however. Any ideas-you are all so helpful with these things.

    Definitely Andre Dawson. Not sure on the 2nd one.

    Agreed about Dawson. Here is my Dawson for comparison.

    I always loved his signature. Very distinctive.

    Who else manages to have a :p downward loop on a "D"?

    Just a wild guess, because same era, but you'd have to see if there was any closer connection. It looks a little like Phil Garner.

    I collect Steve Garvey, Dodgers and signed cards. Collector since 1978.

    Thanks so much, everybody. I'll keep an eye out for any other posts but I'll look up Garner and anyone else with the Cubs around that time. :)
