just read that AP is currently on a flight to Tennesse as a possible replacement for Derek Henry.

36 years old. 14,820 career yards.

can he add anything? I wonder if there is any tread left on those tires?

George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.

I actually think he has plenty left in the tank. His stats are very decent the past few years in about 1/2 to 2/3 playing time. Still quite powerful and reasonably fast at any age. Plus the stats he's had over the past few years have been with dreadful offensive teams. He may surprise some people if he gets the chance. He's not DH at this stage; but can definitely fill a spot. I hope he does well. Now.....the league has wanted him to go away for about 6 years.

He may be able to provide a little help, but let's face it, he's no Derrick Henry.

High school, college, pro's....20 yrs of train wrecks.
Why did Jim Brown retire after 5 yrs?

He's not playing for a pension. 2 cents short of a dime.

    Have a nice day

Not exactly sure what you're saying; but he is surely not only playing for a pension.....he is playing to pay for the 43 kids. I can't see how he is going to have any money whatsoever when he is done playing.

Ha! I didn't realize about the kids. Maybe he DOES need the money.

I’d go with Todd Gurley before Peterson

Gurley can't handle the pounding. Knees are bad. Was once a great player.

Gurley was a great back. Is he out of the league now?

peterson has been signed, Henry officially having surgery.

I really think this is best long term for Derek Henry. 386 combined carries in reg, season/postseason in 2019. 396 last season. that isn't even including his receptions. he will be out of the league at 30 at that pace. the rest will do his body good.

George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.

I was happy he never became a Patriot. Just my opinion.
