Will Brady break the yardage and TD records this season?

craig44craig44 Posts: 11,244 ✭✭✭✭✭

He is currently on pace to break the single season yardage record and is just a hair behind to break the TD record. record is 55, brady on pace for 53.

I say he does it, barring injury.

at 44 freaking years old!!!!!

George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.

tom will break this record this season. he has 51 yards after last night.

55 is the single season record for a player 40 or older.

There are not many records a quarterback has that he will not hold. He has not drop kicked a ball yet I don't think.

His longevity coupled with his ability to lead his teams to victory puts him in rare company. 6-3 in Championship games puts him near Otto Graham territory. Otto was 7-3 and retired much too soon. ;)

Which record are you talking about here? The season record for TDs is Peyton Manning's 55 but Brady currently has 29tds this season. Manning also has the Passing Yards season record with 5,477yds but Brady currently has 3,177 passing yards.

sorry, got a little excited. this is about the passing td and yardage. my mind was thinking about the stupid over 40 rushing record when I was typing on this thread...

I thought Brady was 7-3 in SuperBowls. Either way both have impressive records.

I forgot the one he won in Tampa Bay. Tom and Otto share the stage. Two reasons I give Otto the vote for greatest. 1. I'm a
homer. 2. He was the star I admired when I was8 years old. :)
