Slovakia 2021, Honey Bee, 5 euro coin. I just now bought this coin off Ebay for my "Coins with Insects" collection. The bees look real.

    A very appropriate subject for a coin, so much so that the ancient Greeks had bees on their coins in Ephesus and Chersonesos. Thanks for sharing, I think I have to get one of these.

    Very nice looking coin!

    Ephesus is a beautiful city and one of my favorite ancient travel destinations, though I don't recall any bee motifs when I was there. Will have to see if any exist on the physical structures there.
