edited January 29, 2022 10:22AM in Trading Cards & Memorabilia Forum

We received approval to continue our bulk PSA/DNA submissions for January 2022. New this year is the opportunity to submit flats to have authenticated…..so we can now have our photos/letters etc authenticated in addition to our standard encapsulation submission!!!

For the autograph authentication submission (no encapsulation) - items larger than 11" x 14" will not be accepted.

Your price under this submission (for both the encapsulation and authentication subs) will be as follows:

**Normal Authentication Fee - Your Price under this bulk submission*****
<$50 - $11.00
$50 - $26.00
$75 - $38.00
$100 - $54.00
$125 - $66.00
$150 - $78.00
$151+ - No discount – same price as usual

*****Please note for the encapsulation submission this price includes the standard and tall boy holders. If an item is larger than 3 1/2" x 5 1/2" it can be included in this submission but it will incur an up charge *****

The up charges would be as follows:
Check /Ticket Holder 3 5/8" x 7 1/2" is $4
T3 holder 5 3/4" x 8" is $5
Large Check holder 4 1/4" x 10" is $7
Jumbo holder 8 1/2" x 11" is $25

PSA/DNA stressed on the $100 items that if THEY value the item over $1,000 a premium will apply.

Authentication Fees can be found here - so you know how much your item will cost to have authenticated:
https://psacard.com/pricing/Autographs/

THIS IS AN AUTOGRAPH AUTHENTICATION ONLY SUBMISSION (NO GRADING OR CARD AUTHENTICATION WILL BE DONE).

With the new dual service authentication PSA offers, that means licensed cards will be labeled as a trading card in the flips.

You are responsible for the fee above, shipping your items to me, and then exact return shipping once we get the submission back.

Here is a link to the previous submission I had as well as links to 10 or so others I did from there as well.
https://forums.collectors.com/discussion/1047456/annual-psa-dna-bulk-submission-autograph-encapsulation-only/p1

Please post in this thread if you'd like to take part in the submission so it's easier for me to track. I don't need definitive numbers of items until you send me your package, but a rough estimate when you know would be nice to make sure we have enough items to qualify. Items can be sent now until January 22. I hope to have the package to PSA by January 29th (gives me a week to put everything together).

**ALL ITEMS MUST BE IN CARD SAVERS. IF YOU DON'T HAVE THEM I CAN PROVIDE THEM FOR $.20 CARD SAVER I AND $.25 CARD SAVER IV A PIECE. IF SUBMITTING PHOTOS A SHEET PROTECTOR OR THREE RING BINDER PAGE WILL SUFFICE **

There are two options. We now have an authentication only option for flats like pictures.

The encapsulation prices include a holder for an index card (tallboy holder). Larger encapsulation sizes than an index card have a surcharge on them that you can pm me for details on.

If you have a signed photo you want a sticker and the small card included on, the prices above reflect that option for the authentication only (no encapsulation) submission.

    Hope that helps

    Question:

I have a graded 50 card set I got back from PSA in June, after waiting nearly a year. Standard base cards, no player autographs. Happy with the grades. These cards now appear on my Set Registry.

I also have the exact same set, as yet ungraded, with player autographs for 48 of the 50 cards.

Are there pro/cons for having them PSA'ed via your process? Do I lose something by having them encapsulated and labeled as generic "Trading Cards" rather than the set/card specific name? Will they be recognized by Set Registry? I don't really care about the grade of the card, but would like the auto's authenticated.

    Advice, opinions, thoughts -- thanks!

I dont do set registries so I'm not a good resource. I collect autographs and only care that it is real.

This option is the best, cheapest, and most efficient process if all you care is that the signature is real and the case to help protect it

Hi Raiderguy, I'll be doing this again, could be somewhere around 100 by the time January rolls around.

I'm sure you are going to get this question 100 times, so I'll ask it publicly in a way that is hopefully informative.

What is the upcharge for a T3 holdered item?

What is the upcharge for a "jumbo" holdered item?

If you require people to send you exact dimensions I think you are going to be overwhelmed responding. Since these are the most common sizes beyond the tallboy, it may be best if you just tell people the upcharge for these sizes for encapsulation.

If anybody reading this is on the fence about sending in or not, give it a shot. Raiderguy has been doing this a long time and is a real pro. I know I've been looking forward to this for a while, as have many others.

Really appreciate the kind words! I love doing these!

The up charges would be as follows:

    Check /Ticket Holder 3 5/8" x 7 1/2" is $4

    T3 holder 5 3/4" x 8" is $5

    Large Check holder 4 1/4" x 10" is $7

    Jumbo holder 8 1/2" x 11" is $25

Please note those are the up charges....so what is added to the standard price from the original post

Thanks so much for the public response Raiderguy. That should answer of a lot of questions people will have.

Just curious... what happens if an auto fails authentication for one of the larger encapsulations? For that jumbo holder is the 25 fee returned by PSA? Would the submitter get that money back?

No, cards labeled as Trading Card will not be recognized by the Set Registry. But, you can submit the cards holdered as Trading Card at a later date in a grading order to get grades on the cards. At that point, they would label the cards with the full title, etc. on the flip, and the auto would be Auth already so they'd put that on there too.
