What do you think the grade is for this 1904-s barber half

    I had it as a “F18” myself, very close to Vf, so not real surprised. And it is a key date, with nice skin, and we know that helps sometimes.

    I will defer to @amwldcoin for his opinion. He’s handled more circ Barber halves than the rest of us combined.

    While I shouldn't comment since I sold it, I will. IMHO it's a very nice, original 20. For all those grading it a F whatever perhaps you should go look at the 12's + 15's PCGS has graded.

    Edit to add! Here's a challenge... find an 04-S as original as this and with as much detail and I'll pay $1000.00 for it. Then I'll get it in the proper holder and sell it for more!
