Cool Cromy Tony Hawk Card Discovery... You All Agree?

Hi guys,
Was looking closer at my 1989 Cromy Sticker & Cromy Game Card of Lester Kasai, and it finally hit me... that's not Lester Kasai. Lester Kasai has a darker skin tone and longer hair like Hosoi back in the day. I blew up the image of the Cromy Game card of Lester and it's actually... Tony Hawk!!!!! Chicken Skull Deck, Yellow Tracker Trucks, Jaw Bone under the nose, Lapper, the Black and White Gloves Tony often wore, and his trademark bent right arm over his head. Plus that's Tony's face!!!!

Knowing this makes this the first appearance on a trading card for Tony Hawk. Here's some links of the cards and stickers I have in my collection:

Some really great stuff you have there.

Would appear to be Tony Hawk on that 1989 sticker/card. You mention that it would be his first appearance on a card though in your album he shows up on a 1987 sticker. I guess differentiating between card and sticker here (and not card that could be used as a sticker?/Flimsy back v. more rigid back)? I guess with 1989 Cromy the same photos were produced for sale as both stickers and some sort of card game in Argentina?

Always looking for 1993-1999 Baseball Finest Refractors and1994 Football Finest Refractors.

You are correct sir! The 1987 Overall sticker would be his first appearance on a sticker, he has a solo sticker and the one I have with Lance Mountain. I originally thought the Cromy Argentina Sticker was his first appearance on anything, then found out he had stickers from the 1987 Overall Set released in Brazil. But, a lot of collectors are only interested in the first appearance on a card, so that would be the 1989 Cromy Argentina Game Card that has Lester Kasai's name on the front by mistake. It is clearly Hawk though, wonder how the company made that huge mistake! The 1989 Cromy Argentina Game Card sets are getting snapped up on ebay, glad I put a couple away!
