If college is included then Ohio State - Michigan (Although it's been dominated by the Bucks the last 20 years)

Auction just ended, total victory, I'm feeling arrogant, confident, maybe even a bit rude.

Duke vs North Carolina is a bitter rivalry, the Duke fans will stick their hands out and try to mess with Carolina players.

Actually, Ohio State vs Michigan hasn't been much of a game in years, with Ohio State usually winning. I remember when Urban Meyer coached Ohio State, they dominated Jim Harbaugh and Michigan. Yes, just look at coach Meyer, god bless him, he's going to get some booty one way or another.

I remember this game, 49ers vs Cowboys, Dallas had already won back to back super bowls and that was the year the 49ers beat the cowboys and went in to win it all, and Steve Young finally got that monkey off of his back.

And how about the Cowboys vs Eagles, those two teams hate each other. There's a lot of good memes available for this rivalry, we'll go with Maury and the DNA results.

Steelers vs Cowboys were always a big rivalry in the 70's. Even though the Steelers always won :)

The length of time and number of matches are main proponents of what comprise a good rivalry, in my opinion. So while not as heralded as some of the mainstream rivalries posted above, I would nominate the Princeton v. Yale Thanksgiving pigskin tradition as one of the greatest rivalries ever. Like The Master’s at Augusta National, the powers that be don’t need or do not want it to be highly publicized. They have repeatedly passed on numerous big TV deals and sponsorships to keep the tradition somewhat under wraps considering it’s 120+ year standing. Make no mistake that very big political careers have been made or lost on the playing field and the amount of money risked that game has been rumored to be equivalent to the money laid out on The National Championship game but by a mere fraction of the amount of people. There is an urban legend of two alumni that put a cool mil on just the coin toss each year. B)
