What were Pacific Premier Date cards.

I did not collect pacific cards at all during the 90's, but now i do have some. My question is does anyone know the significance of Premier date cards are. I realize they are serial numbered, but I didnt know if they were supposedly the first cards printed like stadium club first day cards?

I believe it was Pacific's answer for First Day. Pacific football products at the time were very innovative - multiple colors, serial numbers, autos, graded inserts, etc. You could tell their products were made by a collector.
