Is dairy dangerous?

doubledragondoubledragon Posts: 23,269 ✭✭✭✭✭

I've been eating a lot of white cheddar cheese popcorn and snickers ice cream bars lately, and I remember when stevek was here he tried to scare me and told me dairy is really bad for me.

I just think he was trying to scare you so there would be more dairy for him

Dairy has been a staple to humans diets for centuries. It is not dangerous regardless of what anyone might come up with.

I specially remember him saying cheese is terrible for you and I will agree with that, skim milk makes up for its lack of fat with tons of sugar so a lot of the processed dairy stuff is bad but to say “Dairy” is dangerous is a broad and untrue statement.

Thete's just no way I can cut out these snickers ice cream bars, I'm addicted to them, I substituted white cheddar popcorn for butter popcorn because steve told me butter is bad for me.

The Cheddar Popcorn 🍿 has tons of sodium in it and is not much different than the bagged store bought butter popcorn to be honest, it might be wors for ya since the store bought is “Butter Flavored” not actually Land O’Lakes drizzled on it

all right, here is a question. is it better to use a butter substitute or margarine or just use real butter???

my grandmother always used to say that margarine was for cooking and butter was for tasting.

Is not “I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter” only 1 ingredient away from what is used to make plastic? Or so I have heard.

Another crazy note on dairy is that in a many of states the selling of pure raw milk, directly from cow, is illegal?

I’m not sure what’s in margarine but straight up butter in small doses is better than large amounts of fake butter and the chemicals in it in large doses.

Yes, and the generic store brand of "I can't believe it's not butter" is called "Wow, I totally thought it was butter."

There's no way I'm giving these up, just look at that beautiful dairy!

DD, I didn't know you were a Dietician. I'm kindofa Reeses peanut butter guy, but I can make room for those Snickers ice cream bars in a heart beat. Hopefully I can sneak some into the shopping cart before the resident "you can't have those" catches it.

What animal eats the secretions of another animal on Earth?

    Only man.

Furthermore, milk products ferment in your body and make your skin stink.

As a public service, behold the recipe to make your own Reeses peanut treat at home.

NOTE: After step 12, DD is exempt from any further action. He may then at his leisure consume one GIANT peanut butter JUMBO square.

oh man, you may have me there.

side note, It turns out I didnt know the proper way to dip double stuffs until just a few years ago.

you may know already, but you put the cookie on its side and stick a fork into the stuffing. then you can just use the fork to dip the entire cookie all at once. that way your fingers never get wet and you dont have that awful tiny bit of crunchy cookie chasing down the wonderful, soft yummy dipped part of the cookie.

Ok that is a great idea! Duly noted.

I always twist the top off, dunk it then dunk the other side with cream on it, sometimes I will eat the cream off though but usually that’s the process. I WILL try the fork method so thank you 👍🏼👍🏼
