TPG traits in priority order

The damaged cards thread has me wondering if others have similar priorities as me when submitting cards to TPGs. My priorities are as follows:

  1. Handling of submitted items without damage/alteration, including slabbing item for safe long term storage
    HUGE GAP
  2. Verification of authenticity of item
    HUGE GAP
  3. Consistently applied standards
  4. Price of service
  5. Other stuff I can't think of
    2nd to last. Resale value
    Last. Speed of service

I just can't fathom being so lenient about damaged items. If an item with true scarcity was ruined, I wouldn't be so forgiving.

Communication along the way is nice. I have thousands worth of cards at Beckett since July 2020 and I'm not even sure they have them yet.

your number 3 is #1 for me, by a long shot, as a long-term investor/collector.

    PSA wins.

Detection of alterations would be number 1 for me.
