How many different Quarters

If I wanted to collect every U.S. quarter ( different mint marks, different metals) no error coins, how many would that be?
From the first U.S. coins minted till now 2021.

Unfortunately the Mint keeps adding to it exponentially. I lost count and interest after 1998.
break it down... how many before the state quarters?
and how many after: "who cares".
I care that is why I am asking. I think it is interesting. I have 483 of them, which is not that many. Who has the most is another good question.

I've occasionally thought about this, and the hardest part will be obtaining the 5 oz. ATB quarters in bullion and in specimen strike.
There is a total of 630 different quarters issued since 1999, broken down as follows:
P-Mint Business Strikes (1999-2021): 112
P-Mint Satin Finish Strikes (2005-2010): 30
P-Mint ATB 5-oz: 56
D-Mint Business Strikes (1999-2021): 112
D-Mint Satin Finish Strikes (2005-2010): 30
S-Mint Business Strikes (2012-2021): 46
S-Mint Enhanced Unc Strikes (2017 set only): 5
S-Mint Clad Proof Strikes (1999-2021): 112
S-Mint Silver Proof Strikes (1999-2021): 112
S-Mint Silver Reverse Proof Strikes (2018 set only): 5
W-Mint Business Strikes (2019-2020): 10
No Mintmark ATB 5-oz: 56.

Now how many from 1796 to 1998? I’m guessing less than 1999-present based on the statistics in this thread.
The answer is in the set registry pages. I'm working on a set of Washington's 1932 to present with major varieties, circulation, and proofs and it says 795 required. I still need 778
So just open a registry set of each series and total.
and you can further break down the "Silver" quarters to 90% and 99.9%
however
they will total to the number of Silver already provided
Jeez, and I'm having trouble just completing the 19 & 20 W quarters!

Thank you.
I think the Dansco US Washington Quarter Coin Album 1932 - 1998 with Proof #8140 had 186 slots for the quarters from Philly, Denver and San Fran.

Collecting entire denomination series is becoming less and less feasible. That's why collecting coins by type has become so popular.
