NH Coin Expo quick review and newp

Hit the coin expo this morning with an early bird pass and rapidly sold a few coins for my asking prices. Bumped into some familiar faces, made a couple of new connections, and saw a bunch of nice coins.

Although I was not looking for bullion there seemed to be a lot of it around, including dealers with otherwise numismatic inventories with rolls of gold eagles laid out, etc. I didnt ask prices, just noting that there seemed to be more bullion around than I remember last time.

Unfortunately I didnt find any new coins for my core gold type set - but there was a lot of nice material to look through. I might go back tomorrow and take another pass. I got lucky last time with an amazing early $5 from Scarsdale Coin. Today I visited Jon again and found this at his table:

Wasn't aware of these. Has a great overall look and nifty tribute to the famous brasher doubloons. Since I dont have millions to spend on the real thing I figured this would be a nice representative conversation piece. Got it under the camera right away to share!

I went for about 3 hours. Picked up a nice 21 Peace.

Very nice gold piece. One similar to yours with Moy signed label sold on Sept 5th at GC. That one was one of 400 so I guess there are at least 900 of these out there. I was bidding on it but gave up near the end. I like the look and will try to find one sometime.
