Russell Wilson wouldn't let me down, would he?

So, I picked the Seahawks to beat the 49ers this weekend, the Seahawks have lost two straight and Russell Wilson has never lost three games in a row, you could say I had a momentary lapse of reasoning, I thought he might be more focused, and now I see him throwing out first pitches at Mariners games, is this the look of a man who is supposed to be focusing on this weekend? Shouldn't the Seahawks be concerned after a 1-2 start?

Tough call Double D. That’s a game I wouldn’t bet on that’s for sure
Yes it is, the Seahawks seem to be a Jekyll Hyde team, you don't know if they're going to win or lay an egg.
you don't know if they're going to win or lay an egg
my hunch is that come Sunday night the Seahawks will be sitting on the nest.
If the Seahawks lose I'm done picking them, done! Unless of course they play the Jets.
Defense is last or near last in every category. Like last year Wilson can’t stop the run or cover receivers. Unfortunately for Seattle fans, this game won’t be close. And yes after 4 weeks Seattle will find themselves behind the 8 ball and almost out of the playoffs.

Stop it swami, you're scaring me, you don't mean that, say you don't mean it, take it back!
Here is an article where Russell Wilson comments on the Seahawks losing streak and I don't like it, I don't like how calm he is.
Russell Wilson, staring at his first ever three-game losing streak, vows to stay the course
In his tenth NFL season, Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson has never lost three games in a row. With a two-game losing streak and a return to Santa Clara up next, it’s very possible.
Wilson told reporters on Thursday that the prospect of back-to-back-to-back losses has not yet entered his brain.
“Not thinking about losing three in a row,” Wilson said. “I just focus on the winning part of it, the process, focus on getting better, focus on what I do and how I can lead, communicate, and keep my energy and focus high, continue to work hard, get here early, and leave late, stay focused on the simple things. The simple things win, and I try to continue to do those things really well. You have to keep your mind right, you have to keep your language right, and I always tell you guys that I have to remain neutral. It’s supposed to be a challenge and I like I said, I know every year will have some challenges that we have to face, and it is what it is.”
So how will Wilson deal with the challenge that has arisen in the early stages of the 2021 season?
“You have to stay the course,” Wilson said. “So many times, people will panic and will get worried and frustrated. The best thing to do is stay the course, be honest, and figure out how we can get better, and then keep going for it. This league is challenging, every game is challenging. We play in arguably the best division in football, every week is tough. We look forward to the challenges of it all. I think the language is everything too, how we pick each other up, how we communicate with each other, and how we continue to stay focused on the task at hand. We have been playing some really good football and there are some things that we can get better at, that’s the truth. It’s not anything more complicated than that, but now it’s taking those things that we can get better at and week to week improve on those things. There’s a lot of good stuff that when teams lose, you don’t want to get distracted on that stuff in the sense of all of the good stuff that you are doing. You want to be able to focus on that and doing that really well but at the same time, balance your mind and emotions to be able to stay the course and stay focused on the task at hand of how we can improve. I think that beautiful balance is really key.”
It’s easy to say “stay the course.” It’s harder to actually change the course, especially after the Seahawks have blown double-digit leads in two straight games. Last year, the Seahawks started 5-0. This year, the Seahawks are looking at a 1-3 start if they can’t beat the 49ers in their own building. That would make it much harder for Wilson to add to a legacy that he recently said he hopes will be “legendary” and “iconic.”
Call me crazy, but I think Seattle wins this game.
You’re not crazy. This is the NFL after all where strange things happen every Sunday.
Last year the Jaguars won a game and the Jets won 2.

Don't let me influence your decision on this game, if Seattle loses I don't want to be held responsible. You have to make that decision yourself, as a matter of fact you shouldn't pay attention to anything that is said in this thread, you just forget that you were ever here, you hear me, you were never here!
If this game was in Seattle I would have taken the Hawks, they are tough to pick against at home. I was up in the air on this one DD. Hard to go against Russell on any day, he's a future HOF for a reason. I took the 9er's here but not with total confidence either.
Very tough game to pick, a flip of the coin, it really could go either way. I think the 49ers having homefield advantage could be a problem for the Seahawks, Russell will have to have a great game.
The more I think about this, the more I don't like it, I want Russell Wilson to stop being so calm about this, get mad, get angry, slap your teammates around, make them win!
And when the media asks you about the losing streak, you get angry, bitter, and nasty about it, and throw them out of your house!
And stop smiling, Russell and Pete are always smiling, you don't smile during a losing streak!
What's that mr. reporter, you want to know about our two game skid? Ok, here's your answer.
No, stop it, go away!
This, this is how you're supposed to look after a two game stinkfest!
I still remember this absolute disaster, it has to be the worst playcall in the history of sports. If I were Russell Wilson I would have told Pete Carroll "go .... yourself, we're handing it to Marshawn Lynch."

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

I am sure my fellow Pats fans (and some of you others) are aware of what else went into this interception other than the poor play call. If you start this at 32:00, you will see exactly how the Patriots were able to capitalize on this mistake by the Seahawks. Edited to add: you have to click "watch on youtube"

Stonehenge and Russell Wilson, I love it when you talk dirty!
Cowherd is from Seattle or went to school there. There is no one in National media that has a bigger man crush on Russell Wilson that him. Or so I thought. Mr DD is running neck and neck.
Unfortunately for Russ his SB window closed when the doom broke up.
"I spent 50% of my money on alcohol, women, and gambling. The other half I wasted.
What are you doing, are you trying to get me in trouble, you know Urban Meyer is the only man for me!
😂😂😂😂😂😂
You need to give up on Meyer and Wilson and get on the Darnold train. Toot, toot. Train coming and gonna run over the Cowboys Sunday. Then you’ll see Darnold is real.
"I spent 50% of my money on alcohol, women, and gambling. The other half I wasted.
I don't even want to think about Sunday's game, we're going to get destroyed, don't let them do it, don't let them destroy my cats, I'm begging you!
I demand to know how you got a hold of my personal family video collection where I highlight using the little Hydrantettes as human house cleaning devices? Specifically episode #3 ...."The Little Jenny Mop."
Using the little ones as a mop, not a bad idea. 🤔
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
The best episode, at least it's my favourite, is episode #1. In that one, titled "Hell on Wheels!" The Lovely Mrs. Hydrant is washing my truck while going round and round on the roller skates that I bought her for Christmas while she's holding a long handled sponge mop and dressed in a retro L.A. Womans Thunderbird uniform. It's not only an efficient use of her time but it's very, very entertaining to watch!. 🍺👙👀
Toot toot
"I spent 50% of my money on alcohol, women, and gambling. The other half I wasted.
No, please don't buy anymore Sam Darnold cards, I don't want you to waste anymore money, my conscience can't take it!
Riding that train, high on pigskin, Mr Darnold watch your speed.

Luck, pure luck, it won't last.
He played a heck of a game. Defense just didn’t have enough answers.

We needed McCaffrey and Jaycee Horn bad, but hats off to the Cowboys, they have a good team this year.
Jimmy G is out. Wilson won’t let you down now.
