Just got an email on the new location since it appears the Hyatt will not be opening, will be at the Intercontinental New York Barclay. Really looking forward to having it again!

    About 2 years ago I heard the building that houses the Grand Hyatt was to be demolished and a new building built as soon as the office building on the other (west) side of Grand Central was complete.

    I don’t work in the city anymore, but I guess it’s time.

    Personally, I’ve always considered the Grand Hyatt a hideous building.
