Selling a mint sealed box on eBay

OrlenaOrlena Posts: 317 ✭✭✭

Should I be concerned that my receipt and invoice info goes along with the sealed box? Also, what if buyer isn’t happy with the coin?

Thanks for your input

Concerned or not, sealed boxes are traded all the time. It is a necessary situation for a sealed box. Presumably most of the invoices end up in the trash at PCGS or NGC.

If the seller is not happy ebay makes it pretty easy for them to return it, even at your expense.

For these reasons, I'd prefer to sell to a dealer (on Ebay or elsewhere) who will submit it to be graded and accept the results. BST here is a good choice for that.

Scammers will put lesser valued or damaged items back in the box then ask for a refund. Ebay makes it too easy for this to happen and the seller can't do anything about it.

I had the same question when I sold sealed mint boxes on bst. However I looked at each buyer and references and decided to go through with it. I feel I made the right choice with the buyers.
