    maybe with a better image, i found the same coin with an overdate:

    MEXICO. Large silver 8 reales, overstrike 1833 over 1832, ZACATECAS.

    Images are not optimal obviously, but it does look more like the vertical bar of a '1' rather than a toning/light artifact.

    On the bottom image now looks more to me to be just a 3, but one can might also look a 5, who knows:

    just a mickey mouse test I know.

    Possible but hard to tell images are blurry.

    Collecting interests: Mexico & Peru early milled 1 reales + 1796-1891 US dimes

    Sports: NHL & NFL

    Looks more like the 3 is over a 1 not a 2 over 1 as described as rare in D&P .

    So which is it ?😬

    I think the /1 overdate should be the 2 over the 1. Your coin looks like something is going on in the 3. Not sure what it is.

    Yes, the raw example appears to be a 2/1. The certified NGC one looks mis-attributed. There's nothing under the 3 as the early Zacatecas punch for 3 had a faint line that made it look the way it does.
