Where is the defacto location for 'all things Star' regarding the plethora of their mid-80s sets: team sets, gatorade, miller lite, 5x7, etc...?

Call me crazy, but i see the somewhat spurious HSN/QVC Star Sets jumping in value. Recent eBay sales are surprising , and I’ve seen some selling at shows too. I’m staying away - I don’t consider the Best of the Best and Magic Johnson player sets original releases either.
