Does the NGC PQ symbol replace the star symbol for eye appeal

I think the star symbol mainly denotes exceptional eye appeal whereas PQ denotes a coin which also has great strike/lustre for the grade given.

Is this a new NGC feature? I never saw it before

I haven’t heard of an NGC PQ symbol. Please post a link to what you’re asking about.

Are you referring to the "plus" designation for coins that are high end for the grade? No it does not replace the star for eye appeal.

If you are referring to something else, please elaborate on what is meant by "PQ symbol?"
