Hi Friends,

So I’m stumped on this Japanese/Chinese Coin, I cant

find it anywhere.. in the Krause books or any other reference material.

I have learned a good amount however about China in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s.

If a forum member can help identify I would appreciate.

Coin is 32mm in size, weighs 14.1g in silver and the translation by google is roughly,” Eight Exhibitions in September”. Also having the Crane or Heron bird under the Pine Tree symbolizes Longevity

It’s not in Krause because it’s a medal, not a coin. But that’s all I know about it.
