Orioles manager Brandon Hyde was running his mouth to Blue Jays pitcher Robbie Ray while Ray was on the mound, and Ray looked pretty pissed off, is this normal in MLB?

Weird, who knows what instigated that but a manager shouldn’t be doing that unless he is defending his guys
the Umpire should have stopped play and warned the Manager, then if he gave back some grief give him the Hook.
