Label Question

Sorry for all the questions - I am basically a newbee when it comes
to building a coin collection ....
I see alot of the below labels on coin slabs that start with "Top 100"
Exactly what does the "Top 100" mean, and the rest of the description
(see picture below)
Do these type of labels on holders make the coin worth more or less?
Any advice appreciated

Hey nice to hear from you. I think some of it is about a top 100 coins list. I’ve got a couple #27 or something. I think the info about VAM attribution is good.
I didn’t explain it very well but I do believe the 100 top coins is an ngc deal and what I failed to say clearly was VAM 100 would be different and specific. Thanks really good info available here.

I am not super familiar with NGC labels, but I assume that the "Top-100" designation refers to the "Top 100 Morgan VAMs".
FWIW - the PCGS coin number that corresponds to the label in the OP is 133946.
Yes-VAM Top 100.
Is "Top 100 Morgan VAMs" good or bad in prices.
Like the picture I posted is a: "1897 Top 100" MS 62
How does a "Top 100 VAM MS 62" price compare to a regular
1897 MS 62 .....
I need an 1897 for my Morgan collection - Below pictured is one
I am looking at - probably going to be around $100
Any opinions - Should I look for a regular MS62 or MS63 or try
to get this one.
If anyone has any duplicate 1897 Morgans, please contact me
Thanks you for any advice

I'm not a Morgan collector, but the TOP 100 VAM list would not be a price detriment
I would also remove your email lest it be sucked up by some bot for spam purposes.
