Toning, tarnishing on copper

Certainly this must have been asked/addressed before. If so pardon my repetition of so, but I've never seen the question posed:

Obviously some like and enjoy toning on coins. Others feel it's nasty tarnishing and should be avoided. Respectfully, to each their own, for sure.

However I wonder, for those that dislike toning because they view it as tarnishing (which it rightfully is...but still can be beautiful to the eye) are brown coins the ultimate in nasty, damaged by tarnish copper coins?

Worse if they turn green. Not toned green but green like the Statue of Liberty. She's copper.
