Strange Gold?

Making a run for my dealer friend. Has anyone ever seen these? Very big and HEAVY!

If they are actually gold they look like good melt bucket items. They have the look of something from the 1970's or 1980's. I doubt if there is much collector interest. I don't recognize the mintmark.

Franklin Mint gold plated Sterling - those are probably getting pretty scarce as an entire set these days. Dealers melt them about as fast as they walk in the door and have been for years.

Yes, I've sent some of these to the Big Refinery since they have been the strongest consistent buyer of these for decades now.

Pretty set. But once silver got over $10, you just can't get a premium over melt.
