Insert varieties overload

Having a "rare" coin is a great feeling, but I think the marketing on many Silver/Gold Eagles is getting out of hand. I counted over 120 "varieties" of inserts/signatures for ONE DATE on a recent PCGS Silver Eagle. So when you think you're getting that "rare" coin with a POP of only 2, there may be several hundred more out there with a different insert of the SAME COIN. When looking these coins up it's hard to value them with so many different varieties out there...........and sometimes even with the verification number it take a a while to dig through all the different labels to find out the value of a coin. Anyone else think there's way too many labels out there? Seems every "engraver/celebrity/sports pro/dog handler from Iraq, etc.," has gotten into insert signing now too. UGH..............

Never argue with the market.

“dog handler from Iraq”
I am very interested in picking up this one for my modern gold Commem collection. Who is offering this signature.

Yes, way too many labels. Money maker for the host. Pump and dump for the sellers of this stuff.
