1999P New Jersey Quarter - Is this a die crack?

I am not sure what to look for in die cracks. This appears to run behind some design elements on the reverse.
Also why is the E in 'THE' so light struck?

Doesn't look like a die crack - has the shape and free flowing line of a scratch (actually looks like a hair :) ) - you can see it does go up and over the details. And agree with the E being struck through grease but too minor for any premium over face.

You are correct - this is one letter and you can still see it. Fun find but also very common to find coins like that.

The E is a minor grease fill and is common.

The other doesn't look like a typical crack, as mentioned it looks more like a hair stuck to the coin.
It could also be struck thru a thread or hair.
Better photos would be needed and it would help if we knew if it is raised or recessed.

    Hard to say

    Better resolution photos would help

The microscope can get close, but it has too few pixels per square inch
