Price difference on cello verses wax ?

As long as it is not a rare pack, can one assume that a same year wax pack is worth the same value as it same year cello pack? This would also assume that there are no stars showing. The PSA pack price guide show prices for wax packs and i have a few cello packs to try to price out. Thanks to all with replies

Despite cello packs having more cards in them, wax packs typically carry a 10-20% premium. Most collectors prefer the iconic artwork on the wax pack, as well as the mystery of the cards inside. Cellos carry the risk that cherry pickers know the sequence and that the key cards will not be inside. Additionally, cellos prior to 1980 are wrapped tight often bending the corners of the cards.
Excellent points as always Chris. I do feel some cellos are prices at a premium to their wax counterpart. One needs to look no further than the price points on full cello vs wax box. Then do the division.
I’m pretty sure that the supply side of the equation is a meaningful factor. Predominately the fact that it seems that there’s less cello than wax.
Take 82 and 84Fleer as examples.
