Can I resubmit a PSA Graded Card to just ADD an Auto grade?

I have a PSA 2000 Tom Brady Score Auto Rookie Card that has been given a PSA 8 grade. I want to get the card put into a NEW PSA Holder considering mine is in the old holder and this was prior to PSA giving AUTO grades. My auto is perfect on the card and will most likely get a PSA 10 AUTO grade. My question is...Is is possible to ADD the Auto grade on to a previously graded PSA card? If so...HOW?

Yes it is possible. The “how” is a little more complicated. When I did something similar a couple of years ago, it was a “crossover” submission, even though the card was already in a PSA slab. I’m not sure whether that process is still the same.

Thanks for that! How did you figure out how to submit it that way?
theres a crossover service for a card grade add on for $10 to get a blue labeled or other PSA/DNA auto card graded when the auto is already graded.
however, for your situation, you may wanna talk to PSA first to see how they will do this. in your case, you can do an express crossover dual service but it will cost you the full $200. they may have a special way for you to fill out the submission form to just have the auto grade added on for less. last time I did one, they had canceled crossovers so I had to manually fill out a paper order form to circumvent their online one to get it done correctly, as per customer service.

At the time, that’s how PSA customer service said to do it. But the poster above gives good advice.
