Topps no more in 2026?

I was at our local card show over the weekend and just heard that Topps no longer has the licensing after 2025 and they will be more more. I might be late to the party whereas I think this was broadcasted months ago. Does anyone know if they ill continue with no team names or just stop making Topps all together. I have the complete run of Yankee team sets from 1952 to today (minus the Mantle 52 Topps) and would hate to see them stop. I think they will end 1 year short of their 75th birthday too.

They lost the MLB marketing rights after 2025 season ends. They lost the deal to Fanatics who I am sure overpaid to win the contract🙄

Honestly it serves Topps right. I am so bored with all the reissued designs. Topps for years have just been reprinting their popular cards. How many Mike Trout 2011 update reprint or redesigns have they issued? They are washed up. GG.

I stopped buying Topps in 1987. I liked Topps Heritage with the older card designs but that was the only appealing product they had in years.
