Will Ohtani win the MVP, CY or both? Will his cards increase if he wins either or both?

    I think his cards will get a nice bump if he wins either, and a large bump if he wins both.

    He is a favorite for mvp but he has no chance at the CY. He’s a starter with only 100 IP right now and 8 wins.

    He'll end up with 22 or 23 starts, somewhere around there and won't even qualify for the ERA title. No, he doesn't deserve the Cy Young and won't win it.

    But he CLEARLY is the MVP. Leading the majors in homers and total bases (and caught stealing, LOL) while putting up excellent numbers as a starting pitcher - you can't find anybody more valuable than that.

    There are other pitchers better right now, but not a ton. If those couple get injured, or have some bad outings Ohtani can sneak in for CY.

    The MVP is his already.
