Save me from ripping an 81 Fleer box

Bored with Hurricane day. Don’t want to rip any good stuff. Is there any reason to rip this box aside from wasting $200???

Craig Nettles doesn’t move the needle anymore. Does a Henderson in a 9 even help matters?

kirk gibson & fernando rc 10 sells for $300+

then ya got the baines rc and quite a few vets 10s that go for $100+.

just gotta remember the grading fee and when is still unknown.

i say rip. especially during inclement whether. had some of my best pulls during hurricanes.

    stay safe regardless.

Sell the box on ebay and buy $200 of scratch off tickets instead

I'd say good call to leave unopened. If you have the urge to build a set of these then the vending boxes are perfect. I always liked the Fleer vending boxes from 1981-1985: guaranteed 3 sets from the 4-pack of vending boxes

$200 entertainment value during a hurricane? Pop a top and rip some packs. $200 shouldn't break the bank. Have some fun.

Unless you are happy with building a pack fresh raw set, it really makes no sense at all to open any boxes from that era given what sub fees are at present.

Open a 1989 fleer or donruss box. They still are the cost of breakfast and a chance for Griffey .

Step back from the ledge...and leave it unopened.

It will cost you $200 just to get a either one graded and we know the odds of getting a 10 are right now. You will lose cash opening and subbing to PSA.

I put the shitty Fleer box back in its drawer. Came to my senses.

Needed some card action today so Instead decide to put a few unopened packs up on the Bay.

Do what I've done these past 20 or so years and have the complete set in binder/pages first and you'll have no reason to open the pack or carton!
